Too often, the basic purpose for consulting and training is lost. That purpose is to make measurable changes in working behaviors that produce more productive employees for the needs of the organization or agency.

Productivity is a consequence of an organization's culture. Leaderistics creates an organizational culture wherein people are, individually and collectively, efficient and effective at working "with and through others to identify and achieve common goals." Today, experts are beginning to say, "Good leaders have strong people skills." While the ideal candidate for a management job is still someone with a blend of technical ability and leadership skills, many administrators are starting to believe that it's more important these days for leaders to have strong interpersonal skills.

Leaderistics is behavior or performance based. A solid foundation of behavioral, social, and business sciences support its Synergistic Leadership Toolbox. Our purpose is to assist management in creating strong individual and group norms and behaviors, which support the organization's mission.

This requires that we work closely with our client's leadership to ensure a clear understanding of their needs and expectations. Actually, as an organization's culture changes, management's expectations often change as well. This makes it critical that we have a close working relationship.

Sometimes, we begin by facilitating management's review and evaluation of its mission and goals and assist them to develop a clear, compelling and "market tough" strategic plan. Often, we conduct a SWOTS profile of the organization's internal and external realities so that leadership can deal directly with its internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as its market place opportunities and threats.

Leaderistics is the next step beyond the Deming model. TQM and TQL programs are experiencing a 75%-80% failure rate in terms of significant improvement. Leaderistics administers a pre-workshop behavioral baseline assessment and a one-year post-assessment to determine the effectiveness of its training. After several years of field testing, Leaderistics has amassed strong one-year, pre/post assessment data, which supports that participants significantly enhance their performance and interpersonal behaviors.

Leaderistics creates synergy within an organization. We facilitate this change process without creating anxiety or disruption that often accompanies such adjustments. Actually, we enjoy, even prefer, being challenged to produce measurable improvement outcomes. While we are serious about what we do, Leaderistics is fun and exciting. Our approach is application based, participant-centered, and highly interactive. Read what our past participants haveto say.

The success of most operational tasks, sooner or later, depends upon cooperation and coordination. Both require the successful use of complex, interpersonal behaviors. The Leaderistics Program teaches eight complex, interpersonal behaviors which produce high levels of cooperation and coordination. The program's curriculum and real world application assignments are founded upon over 10 years of university teaching and organizational consulting during which the best models and practices within the fields of sociology, psychology, business, and religion have been integrated and simplified. Consequently, participants enjoy a highly practical, interactive, and skill-based learning experience that allows them to quickly master the complex, interpersonal behaviors which compose Leaderistics and create a ZWE organizational culture.

The complex, interpersonal behaviors which define Leaderistics are separated into eight Tools. Each Leaderistics Tool focuses on a different facet of personal awareness or group performance. Throughout the workshop, participants develop these complex, interpersonal behaviors by first discussing and understanding specific subroutines, and then by practicing each within their workplace and private settings to solve problems, accomplish tasks, or take advantage of opportunities.

One of Leaderistics' complex, interpersonal behaviors is effective leadership. All complex behaviors have subroutines (partial skills) which must be learned before the complex behavior will appear. For example, the ability of a leader to neither oversupervise nor undersupervise followers, and to insure that followers develop the appropriate mix of technical, interpersonal, and conceptual skills are two of the subroutines necessary to be an effective leader. As the specific subroutines of each Leaderistics complex, interpersonal behavior are better understood, practiced, and valued, participants become more effective at integrating them into enhanced cooperation and coordination.

Many present organizational development programs produce only marginal successes because participants are expected to achieve results by immediately using complex behaviors without first being able or willing to perform the necessary subroutines. For example, a quality circle might set an operational goal of increasing employee retention (a complex behavior) without first identifying, understanding, and resolving the interpersonal behaviors (subroutines) which are creating the high level of employee turnover.

Within the Leaderistics Program, its textbook is augmented with drill posters, video and written case analysis, group discussion, real world application assignments, and continuous improvement assessments which allow participants every opportunity to learn the specific subroutines which build on each of the eight Leadership tools. The program culminates with everyone clearly understanding why Leaderistics creates a ZWE organizational culture which "…significantly improves how individuals and groups work with and through others to identify and achieve common goals."

Leaderistics optimizes two sets of measurable criteria. The former is concerned with increasing the level of individual performance and productivity, as seen by self and others, and the latter with improving job satisfaction and feelings of well being. The Leaderistics Program uses a one-year pre/post-assessment process to determine its success. A five-year data base has been amassed which confirms that Leaderistics improves individual performance and productivity by an average of 40% across 8 different leadership styles and 24 managerial skills. Also, improvements in job satisfaction have averaged around the 25% range.

As an organization encourages the honing of Synergistic Leadership Tools, a ZWE Culture forms which continues to strengthen communication, cooperation, coordination, and productivity.
